The appeal of Australian Federation architecture
In an article in Domain, Jenny Brown writes on the appeal of Federation houses and how period features can attract the eye of a buyer.
“Sometimes called “Edwardian”, the best examples of the turn-of-the-20th century type are generally found in the leafy or garden suburbs that surround the more densely-subdivided Victorian belts of capital cities and regional centres. They also appear singly on farms where the early 1900s wool checks were famously generous,” she writes.
