Welcome to our first edition of Hodges Happenings

It has been an exciting few weeks since I joined Hodges, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for welcoming me into this role.
I have had the pleasure of visiting most of our offices across the network, and I must say, I am truly impressed with the quality of our brand, professionalism, and the strategic locations of our offices.

I would like to extend my appreciation for all the valuable feedback I have received so far. Your insights and suggestions have been taken on board, and I am committed to incorporating them into our future plans. Moving forward, I firmly believe that we have a unique and exciting opportunity in the ever-changing world of Real Estate.

Our brand embodies prestige and innovation, and it is our duty to leverage these qualities to their fullest potential. As we enter the second half of the year, our training focus will shift towards “creating the opportunity” and “converting the opportunity.” One area of improvement that we will emphasise is our use and understanding of our CRM Box + Dice. With one of the largest combined databases in Victoria, it is crucial that we adopt a strategic approach, including data clean-up and best practice usage. This will prove to be the most productive and cost-effective way to prospect in our marketplaces. Stay tuned for upcoming training sessions where we will explore more effective methods.

I am very pleased to welcome Amanda Kohler to the Hodges Corporate team as our new Operations & Innovations Manager.  Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge with over 25 years of broad expertise of the industry to the Hodges Group. As a fully licensed professional, with a focus predominantly on Sales, Residential, and Commercial Property Management, Amanda has a strong understanding of the industry’s intricacies and has successfully navigated its challenges over the years.  Find out more about Amanda’s background in her profile in this newsletter.

I am also excited to announce that within a few weeks, we will be launching our state-of-the-art digital listing presentation. This cutting-edge tool will revolutionise the way we present our listings, offering a premium look and a range of impressive features. It can be delivered seamlessly via text, email, or in a printed format. This will be a game changer for our Group. Following the successful rollout of the sales proposal, we will then introduce a digital property management offering with the same premium look and features. We will provide training to ensure that each office masters this essential aspect of our business.

In addition to these exciting developments, we have several other key focuses and upcoming events over the next few months. We will be finalising the details for our highly anticipated awards night on 17th August, dedicated to recognising the outstanding achievements of our team members and acknowledging the hard work and effort the entire group has been delivering over a challenging time. National Property Managers Day is on 21st July and a luncheon is booked to celebrate the amazing people we have in our property management teams.  We will also be actively cleaning up and updating resources on the Hub to ensure that we have the most up-to-date and relevant information available. Furthermore, we are in the process of planning a conference at the end of the year, and we will be working closely with each office to develop and implement strategic plans tailored to their unique requirements.

I am genuinely thrilled to be a part of this incredible group, and I look forward to collaborating with each of you to drive our success to new heights. Together, we will embrace the ever-changing real estate landscape and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.

With over 25 years of experience in Real Estate, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and broad expertise of the industry to the Hodges Group. As a fully licensed professional, with a focus predominantly on Sales, Residential, and Commercial Property Management, Amanda has a strong understanding of the industry’s intricacies and has successfully navigated its challenges over the years.

In addition to Amanda’s real estate background, she has previous corporate experience, having worked as a National Property Manager and in National Partnerships and Event Management roles. These roles have enabled Amanda to gain valuable insights into building and maintaining strong business relationships and executing successful events.

Amanda’s experience extends beyond local markets, having spent five years working abroad in the United Kingdom and Poland. This international exposure has enabled Amanda to broaden her perspective and with an enhanced ability to adapt to different market and cultural dynamics.

Nurturing relationships and negotiating business solutions are two aspects that Amanda is truly passionate about. She believes in the power of building long-lasting connections with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Through effective communication and a keen understanding of their needs, she strives to find mutually beneficial solutions that drive success for all parties involved.  Amanda takes great pride in maintaining a high level of ethics and professionalism in all her dealings. Attention to detail is being a key strength, she ensures that every aspect of a transaction is thoroughly reviewed and executed to the highest standards. With a positive and can-do attitude, Amanda approaches each challenge with determination and a drive to achieve optimal results.

On a personal note, Amanda has been a resident of Bayside for over 15 years, establishing deep roots in the community. She has a young family and shares a love for the land, which is reflected in her family farm located in North/East Victoria. This connection to nature further strengthens her appreciation for the real estate industry. Amanda has a keen interest for interior design. Exploring the aesthetics of spaces and creating environments that evoke a sense of comfort and beauty is a personal passion that complements her real estate experience.
